Internationally recognized and award-winning teacher and choreographer. She received her training at Ballet la Jeunesse in Los Angeles, CA and with her mother, Kathie Fishback Anthony. Krista comes from a lineage of four generations of professional dancers. Her family continues to direct their dance school, Fishback Studio, which was founded in New Mexico in 1945.
Krista enjoyed a successful career as a fashion model in Europe, USA, Asia and Australia modeling for top designers such as Chanel, Giorgio Armani, and Ferragamo to name a few. She was featured in print campaigns, magazines, on runways and television for a decade.
In 1995 Krista returned to her dance roots specializing in ballet, pointe, jazz, and contemporary dance. Krista coaches and choreographs for national and international level competitors. Her trainees are frequently the recipients of overall high score, technical and choreography awards.
Krista takes pride in her ability to cultivate the best in her students and see them flourish.
Since 2005, Krista's students have qualified in both the solo and ensemble divisions for the Youth America Grand Prix Finals in New York City. Her students and choreography have repeatedly won the Youth Grand Prix Award, Grand Prix Award, the Hope Award, in addition to overall awards in contemporary and ensemble divisions at YAGP. In 2017, her piece won the Gold Medal in the contemporary pas de deux division at YAGP NYC Finals.
Krista’s daughter and lifelong student, actress and dancer Juliet Doherty, won the Gold Medal in the Junior Women’s and Senior Women’s Division at the YAGP Finals 2012/2014. Juliet performed in the “Stars of Tomorrow Gala” at Lincoln Center with a piece Krista choreographed.
Recent student scholarships include San Francisco Ballet School, Houston Ballet Academy, ABT JKO School, The Ailey School, Alonzo King’s Lines Ballet, the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, the School of American Ballet, Australian Ballet School, Academie Princesse Grace,and numerous universities.
Recent student engagements include Broadway shows including Miss Saigon, Aladdin, the Radio City Rockettes, Little Dancer at The Kennedy Center, feature films and with professional dance companies in the USA and abroad.
Her work and students have been recognized with overall awards and medals and featured in galas at USA/IBC, World Ballet Competition, ADC/IBC, YAGP, Vail International Dance Festival, the Beijing International Ballet and Choreography Competition, Varna International Ballet Competition, “Gala de Danza” in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and Cancun International Ballet Festival.
Krista is currently on faculty at Master Ballet Academy in Arizona, and is a sought-after choreographer and guest master teacher at conservatories, intensives and festivals in the USA and internationally.
Krista was honored to receive the “Avant Garde” award for choreography from ADC/IBC and “Outstanding Choreographer” award from YAGP both in 2018.
Juliet began dancing at the age of 3 in her hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She trained under her mother’s teaching at Fishback Studio of the Dance and continued her training at the San Francisco Ballet School on full scholarship. Juliet is a two time Gold Medalist at the world’s largest ballet competition, the Youth America Grand Prix, and received the Special Jury Prize at the Beijing International Ballet Competition in China.
At the age of 15, Juliet was a featured TEDx speaker. She spoke about empowering young artists and people alike to achieve their dreams through mindful practice. Juliet has appeared as the lead in two feature films, Driven to Dance on Netflix and High Strung: Free Dancein theaters this fall. Juliet performs as an international guest artist, and most recently appeared in the role of Lise in the Tony award winning musical An American in Paris at the Hale Center Theater.

Pre-Professional Program, St. Petersburg Ballet Conservatory
12 year old ballerina in training in the pre-professional program at St. Petersburg Ballet Conservatory under director Servy Gallardo.
Emma has received multiple 1st place awards for both Classical Ballet and Contemporary at YAGP. She also received 1st place, Gold Medal at Miami International Ballet Competition and 1st place awards in Classical, Contemporary and Pas de Deux at Universal Ballet Competition. Along with ADC Medallion scores and bronze medal (3rd place) at ADCIBC.
She was one of the participants selected to perform in the 2019 Closing Gala of Cancun International Ballet Festival along with international guest artists.

Bailarina Principal, Ballet de Monterrey
Inicio sus estudios en la Escula Nacional de Ballet Fernando Alonso y se graduo de la misma en el año 2015 (Habana, Cuba). Ha participado en el concurso internacional de la Habana donde obtuvo Medalla de Oro y Premio a la Maestria Tecnica.
En el año 2015 se unio al Ballet Nacional de Cuba y en el año 2018 alcanzo la categoria de Primera Solista. Se unio al Ballet de Monterrey en el año 2019 con la categoria de Solista y en el mismo año alcanzo la categoria de Bailarina Principal.

Sus estudios dieron inicio en el Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colon (Argentina), luego se unio al Barcelona City Ballet en España. En el 2015 recibio una beca para terminar sus estudios en The Rock School for Dance Education donde se graduo en el año 2017. Ha participado en concursos como el Moscow IBC, Varna IBC, Fue galardonado con el Premio Joven Promesa de la Danza (Sicilia, Italia), Grand Prix (Youth American Grand Prix, Philadelphia, USA), Medalla de Oro y Premio Maria Antonietta Berlusconi (Milan, Italia).
Se incorporo el Cleveland Ballet (USA) en la temporada 2017/2018 donde se ha desepeñado con roles principales en "Fall Collection", EL Cascanuces y Coppelia. Desde el 2019 integra el Ballet de Monterrey con la categoria de Solista.
